چکیده
Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and its consequences are a serious global public health issue. By 2030, the number of people with type is predicted to reach 439 million. The purpose this study evaluate plasma levels glucose, HbA1c, insulin, lipid profile in Sudanese T2DM patients. Methods: This case control included 165 patients diabetic cardiovascular condition as cases volunteers without disorder controls. concentrations were assessed using Mindray BS-480 auto-chemistry analyzer, insulin was analyzed Cobase 411 auto analyzer. collected data statistical tools for social science computer programs (SPSS version 21). Results: According findings, (59.4 %) between ages (50-69). Females made up 50.9 %. (38.2 had an illness duration (8-15 years). (41.8%) individuals did not have hypertension. There substantial rise BMI, FBG, HDL-C, among diabetics disease compared (p-value = 0.001, 0.000, 0.018, 0.000). significantly higher blood TC, LDL-C, BMI than males (p-values 0,001, respectively). significant positive correlation FBS, HBA1c, (r=0.155, p, value=0.005) (r=0.160, value=0.004)(r=0.103, p. value=0.061)respectively, while there negative TG,LDL-C, HDL-C (r=-0.152, value= 0.006)(r=-0.023, value=0.678)(r=-0.113, 0.040)(r=-0.145, value=0.008)respectively. Conclusion: When comparing disease, insulin. all strong connection.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of good glycemic control on serum lipids levels and lipid peroxidation, and to find out the relationship between the level of malondialdehyde and HbA1c in type 2 diabetes. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Fifty type 2 diabetic patients aged 40-60 years with the history of diabetes for more than 10 years were studied. Glycemic control was stable...

Objective: Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a complex metabolic disorder with adverse cardiovascular risk. Chromium (Cr) is an essential nutrient and its role in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism has not been clarified especially in Iran. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of chromium picolinate administration on blood glucose, HbA1c, lipid profile and lipid peroxidation in type 2 diab...
متن کاملBlood glucose patterns in type 2 diabetic patients with optimal fasting plasma glucose but high HbA1c.
BACKGROUND Achieving fasting plasma glucose (FPG) target may not reflect hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) target achievement. OBJECTIVE Illustrate the blood glucose patterns contributing to HbA1c > 7% in patients whose FPG was < 130 mg/dl and correlation between HbA1c and plasma glucose at various times. The contribution of caloric intake, carbohydrate consumption and glycemic index of food to plasma g...
